Foster Davis![]() Foster Davis loves guitars. Whether he is playing his new Jackson King-V or admiring a Gibson SG, the next guitar that he wishes to add to his collection, Foster cannot get enough of this instrument that he began playing when he was 10 years old. After months of begging, Foster’s parents purchased his first guitar as a Christmas gift. Shortly after receiving his guitar, his grandmother enrolled him into Rock School, a program at the local music store, Mom’s Music. The Rock school program opened a new world to Foster and he hasn’t put down that guitar since learning his first riff. Foster saves the money he earns from the gigs he plays with his band, The Trouble With Boys. He uses the money for guitar lessons and plans to save until he can purchase the Gibson SG. How much does Foster love guitars? Just ask him what he hopes to do the rest of his life – and he will say be a rock star or own a guitar company. To achieve this dream, Foster plans to attend college and major in music. Foster enjoys a wide variety of music including classic rock and hard rock. His favorite song to perform is “Helter Skelter.” His knowledge of rock music shows whenever he introduces his favorite song by informing the crowd that “Helter Skelter” was The Beatles’ song about a roller coaster. His love of the song is a tribute to The Beatles and an effort to free the song from its infamous reputation connected to Charles Manson. Foster’s favorite bands include: Blink 182, Queen, and a local band called Sacred Sorrow. His favorite guitar players are Queen’s Brian May and Slash. Foster is always thinking of others. This becomes apparent when you ask him what he enjoys about performing and what he enjoys most in life. Foster loves bringing the audience into the show and trying to get the crowd excited and energized. He loves to hear the crowd respond to the band and cheer. Nickname: Faucet (my friends call me that)
